Leon Wolff
I was born in Fort Bragg, NC in 1971. I grew up in Charlotte, graduating from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC in 1993 with Joint Major in Biology and Chemistry. I also played soccer all four years in college. I received my Masters at the University of Louisville, in Kentucky in 2001. My physical therapy career started at a Traumatic Brain Injury facility in Louisville. I moved to Ithaca in 2004 with my wife and two kids.
Over the next 8 years I worked at a sub-acute facility, rehabilitation facility, and two outpatient centers. In May of 2013, I passed the hand exam becoming one of 5,500 Certified Hand Therapist in the country. As of January 2016, I am the owner of Cayuga Hand & Physical Therapy, PC. I work closely with the doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and trainers in Rochester, Syracuse, Elmira, Corning and, locally, in Ithaca. Referral sources locally come from Cayuga Medical Center, Guthrie, Gannet at Cornell, and many family practices.
My style of practice is to work one-on-one with the patient. My specialty is the upper extremity, but I enjoy working with people who have had back, neck, hip, knee, ankle injuries and balance problems. I am a member of the American Physical Therapist Association (APTA).
